Costa Daurada beaches

The beaches of the Costa Daurada are its best business card. Some of the larger beaches are in towns and cities; others are surrounded by pine trees; others are nestled in coves where you can sunbathe, swim and relax. The area's 92 kilometres of coastline alternate between sandy beaches and limestone rock coves that have been well preserved. Waters are clear and fairly shallow, so dive in! The beaches' fine, golden sand, when combined with beautiful waters, results in captivating beauty.

The vineyard, which is a notable symbol of Mediterranean culture, is one of the most valuable hallmarks of the regions in the Costa Daurada. This is due both to their overwhelming expanses and the unique nature of their products. It is home to five denominations of origin of wine and a good number of its territories are included in the Cava denomination of origin. The Costa Daurada has a notable variety of vineyard landscapes.

Hundred-year-old vines grown on slopes or terraced hillsides in El Priorat and the Serra de Montsant, creating a severe landscape that contrasts greatly with the plains of the Camp de Tarragona and El Penedès. The undulating scenery of Terra Alta and part of the Conca de Barberà make the landscape even more diverse. It is an agrarian mosaic that is shared with other typically Mediterranean crops such as olives, grains, almonds and hazelnuts.

The Costa Daurada is the perfect destination if you are looking for extensive nightlife. We have a wide range of leisure options to suit the diverse profiles of our visitors: from those who prefer to have fun with their families at the start of the night, to those who prefer to dance until sunrise with their friends.

The evening breeze and the early hours of the night can become the perfect allies for those who choose to sit on the terraces of bars and restaurants on the Costa Daurada. We suggest an unhurried stop to sample some ice cream, or maybe a cocktail. The rest is up to you.
