What We Are Looking for in You:
• Previous Experience: Experience as a kitchen assistant or in similar positions, preferably in hospitality.
• Basic Cooking Knowledge: Handling kitchen utensils, food preparation, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
• Agility and Organization: Ability to work efficiently while maintaining order and cleanliness, in line with service standards.
• Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff and hotel team.
• Positive Attitude: Desire to learn, sense of responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
What Will You Do in This Role?
• Kitchen Team Support: Assist in the preparation of dishes, following the instructions of the chef or supervising cooks.
• Food Handling: Prepare ingredients, perform basic cuts, and assist in the preparation of simple recipes.
• Order and Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen and utensils in optimal hygienic and organized conditions.
• Stock Control: Assist with receiving and storing supplies, checking quality and expiration dates.
• Food Safety: Comply with food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
