Job Description:
Best Hotels selects Chefs for Best Pueblo Indalo, located in Mojácar (Province of Almería).
Functions to be performed:
• Professionals specialized in Cold and Hot items are sought.
• Preparation and presentation of dishes according to the assigned kitchen area.
• Food handling in compliance with current regulations, ensuring its conservation and use.
• As part of the trusted staff, you will collaborate with the head chef and second head chef in:
◦ Reception of raw materials.
◦ Storage, defrosting and temperature control.
◦ Application of HACCP controls, handling, cleaning and disinfection.
• Assembly of buffets and preparation of menu products.
• Training of staff in the different areas, following the chain's standards.
• Review and control of kitchen equipment, reporting any incidents.
• Other functions specific to the position.
Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: Intermediate or Higher Degree in Cooking.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in high-volume hotels.
• Experience in themed buffets and their decoration.
• Responsible, organized, fast, proactive, positive and decisive person.
• Ability to work in a team and training skills.
• Accustomed to working under pressure.
• Experience in decorating and setting up buffets.
