We are looking for an Assistant Chef for Best Hotels

What We Look For In You:
• Training and Experience: Qualification in cooking (intermediate or higher) and a minimum of 2 years' experience in high-volume hotels, preferably with buffet service.
• Technical Knowledge: Mastery of culinary techniques, experience in all areas, and ability to present and decorate buffets creatively.
• Organizational Ability: Meticulous, quick, decisive person with the ability to work under pressure.
• Leadership and Team Management: Ability to train, motivate, and organize the kitchen team in coordination with the head chef.
• Personal Treatment: Friendly person, with good customer service, communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Flexible Hours: Availability to adapt to the hotel's operational needs.
What Will You Do in This Role?
• Support to the Head Chef: You will be second in command, supporting all areas of the department.
• Service Supervision: Assembly and supervision of creative and innovative buffets, as well as menu items.
• Staff Training: You will train the team following Best Hotels quality standards.
• Operational Management: You will collaborate in staff organization, inventory control, use of raw materials and kitchen supplies.
• Regulatory Compliance: You will oversee proper food handling, HACCP compliance, traceability, and allergen management.
• Customer Service: You will assist guests as needed, ensuring their satisfaction.
• Replacing the Head Chef: You will take over the management of the area in the absence of the head chef.
